Why I Started This

When I was working in-house, there was a lot of conversation about how technology could streamline contract workflows, with faster approvals, better tracking, more automation. But I kept coming back to the same thought: the language itself needs to be better.

Contracts often slow down deals not just because of process issues, but because the wording is dense, outdated, or disconnected from how SaaS companies actually work.  I started this project to see how far we could get by improving the language itself.

The goal is to create clause language that makes negotiation faster, better reflects SaaS-specific risks, and is easier for the rest of the business to understand and use. My goal is to collaborate with other lawyers who care about the same thing and do my part to raise the baseline for everyone working in this space.
